The 3 day Masai Mara road safari is an affordable Kenya safari
to the Masai Mara National Reserve, which is regarded as the
most thrilling of the Kenya national parks. This safari is a

and its spectacular landscapes.
Transport is in the traditional mini-van with a pop-up roof for
optimum wildlife viewing although you may opt for a 4x4 safari
Land cruiser instead.

Day 1: Nairobi - Masai Mara
You will be picked up from your Nairobi hotels early in the
morning and drive through the eastern wall of the Great Rift
Valley where you will stop at strategic points for viewing and
photography. You will then proceed with your Masai Mara Road
Safari descending to the floor of the Rift Valley and drive on
towards the Masai Mara. Arrive at the Masai Mara for check in,
lunch and a short rest.
Afternoon safari game viewing drive in the Mara to see abundant
wildlife and birds. Dinner and overnight at
Sentrim Mara Safari Camp
or Ol -Moran Tented Camp.
Day 2: Masai Mara
Wake up at 5.30 am for a cup of coffee followed by an early
morning safari game drive and back to the safari lodge/camp for
a full breakfast. After breakfast proceed for another safari
game drive visiting Mara River to see hippos, crocodiles and the
migration point of the wild beasts. (There’s another option of
proceeding for a full day safari game drive with a packed lunch
till evening).
Whichever option you settle for, there will be plenty of
opportunity to see some African elephants, rhinos, buffaloes,
lions and leopards in the Masai Mara. Dinner and overnight at
Sentrim Mara Safari Camp
or Ol -Moran Tented Camp.
Day 3: Masai Mara - Nairobi
Early morning Masai Mara safari game drive then return to your safari camp/lodge
for a full breakfast. After breakfast, you will check out and be
driven back to your Nairobi hotel by your professional safari
driver-guide. If you set off early enough, you might be able to
squeeze in a visit to a Masai village and get a peek into the
inimitable Masai culture and livelihood of the world-famous
Masai people. |
